Sepahan Oil Company has successfully obtained the Energy Consumption Compliance Certificate for its production units for the Iranian year 1403. The certificate, based on Iranian National Standard No. 11593, was issued by the National Standards Organization of Iran.
According to annual assessments conducted by energy inspection companies accredited by the National Standards Organization of Iran, Sepahan Oil Company is the only base oil producer among the country’s four active companies in this sector that has never been subject to penalties for exceeding the permitted energy consumption threshold.
According to Sepahan Oil Company’s Public Relations Department, this distinguished position is the result of years of continuous optimization projects and targeted energy management practices. Going beyond national requirements, the company’s next objectives include obtaining the international ISO 50001 Energy Management System certification and implementing large-scale energy optimization projects. Achieving these goals will not only help reduce operational costs but also contribute significantly to addressing the country’s energy imbalance.
Meanwhile, Sepahan Oil has recently completed the installation of solar panels on the rooftop of its headquarters building in Tehran as part of its efforts to save electricity and reduce dependence on the national power grid. With the implementation of this project, a portion of the headquarters’ electricity demand will be supplied through a clean and renewable energy source, leading to lower energy costs and playing an effective role in enhancing energy efficiency across the organization.
