Farhad Amin Dehghan, CEO of Sepahan Oil Company, closely examined the stability of the systems, the work process, and the challenges of shift personnel during a meeting on production processes at the refinery on Thursday. In this year-end meeting, while emphasizing the vital importance of the refinery's products, he appreciated the round-the-clock efforts of the company's employees in various departments.

While the development of knowledge-based products and the cessation of foreign exchange dependence are another of Sepahan Oil's outstanding achievements at this critical juncture, this week, after two years of effort, the company has succeeded in producing some of its strategic products using domestically-sourced raw materials; materials that have reached the industrial production stage in the continuous process of research and development (R&D) over the past two years.

This scientific and operational process has been officially approved by the Vice President for Science, and the aforementioned products are now recognized as "knowledge-based" products. This success will also result in an annual reduction in imports of about ten million dollars for the company, and the costs arising from the development of these products will also be subject to tax exemptions for the first time.
