The FRW Project is one of the largest technical and specialized projects undertaken by Sepahan Oil Company. Its design phase began in December 2019, while the implementation phase commenced in November 2020. After six years of continuous, around-the-clock efforts and a dedicated focus by all relevant departments of the refinery and Sepahan Oil Company, the project has now been completed and its operation has commenced.

Despite the continuation and intensification of international sanctions against the country, all engineering and specialized activities associated with the project were carried out relying entirely on domestically manufactured equipment and the expertise of Sepahan Oil Company specialists.

It is worth noting that the main objective behind defining and implementing the FRW Project was to increase the capacity of the dewaxing unit for the production of H5 paraffin, achieve a further reduction in Oil Content, and improve paraffin quality while maintaining the existing production capacity.

The primary outcome of commissioning and operating this project is expected to be an increase in operating revenues of more than USD 27 million, equivalent to approximately IRR 25 trillion.
